The Bigband album „With You I Abide“ presents gospel and jazz pieces with a focus on songs interpreted by solo vocals with background singers, as well as choir. It includes two of my own compositions – “With You I Abide” and “Jacob’s Ladder” – as well as four specially created arrangements of Kirk Franklin’s gospel hits “Love Theory” and “I Smile,” Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” and Mervyn Warren’s “Hallelujah: A Soulful Celebration” (a gospel version of G. F. Handel’s “Hallelujah”). Other titles on the album include “Amazing Grace” and “Overjoyed” (Stevie Wonder).
